Welcome!
"I, Mark Anthony Jacobson, Anishinaabe artist and innovator, proudly introduce Woodland A.I., a revolutionary fusion of traditional Indigenous art and cutting-edge technology. Building upon the storied legacy of Woodland art from Northwest Ontario, I boldly bridge the past and future.
With decades of dedication to my craft, I've infused the timeless spirits of the land, guided by Anishinaabe teachings, into vibrant, dreamlike paintings. Now, embracing the possibilities of Artificial Intelligence, I pioneer Woodland A.I. – a genre that honors heritage while embracing progress.
As the first Native artist to merge A.I. with Woodland art, I break new ground, expanding the boundaries of Indigenous creative expression. Woodland A.I. harmonizes the organic with the digital, blending traditional themes with modern tools.
My art weaves together:
- The whispers of ancestors and the pulse of the land
- The swirling colors of the aurora borealis and the glow of pixels
- The ancient stories of my people and the infinite possibilities of A.I.
Woodland A.I. is a testament to the resilience and adaptability of Indigenous culture. I invite viewers to experience this visionary blend, where tradition meets innovation, and the spirit of the land meets the future.
Mark Anthony Jacobson, (Rainbow Thunderbird) Founder of Woodland A.I."
As in the past, present and most certainly in the future… humankind will continue to have first contacts. All things being interconnected, we should remember the lessons of our past to help us ensure good relations in the future.
The following series shows the beautiful creative process of
artistic evolution and integration between artist and A.I.
Art transcends language, culture, and creed.
It speaks a universal language of its own.
